Nokia's Biggest Smartphone Lumia 625 Pre-Orders Begin For ₹1,000 as Advance Payment

Nokia's much anticipated 4.7-inch Lumia 625 smartphone is now up for pre-orders at Indian online store Snapdeal.

The e-retailer is charging ₹1,000 as advance for prospective buyers pre-booking Lumia 625. The remaining amount can be paid when the Nokia phone gets released later this month.

The final price of Lumia 625 is expected to be priced around €220 Euros (excluding taxes), approximately ₹17,850 in Indian denominations.

As per a recent report, Infibeam and Home Shop 18 are the only other e-commerce shops to list Lumia 625, but sales are yet begin in these websites.

Nokia's biggest smartphone, Lumia 625, sports a 4.7-inch IPS super sensitive LCD WVGA screen with 800x480p resolution having a pixel density of 201 ppi (pixels per inch).

Like all 2013 Lumia phones, it runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system. It packs a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded up to 64GB.

It features a 2000 mAh battery which can sustain up to 23.5 hours of talk time. Lumia 625 houses a decent 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and a secondary VGA camera on the front side.

The final price of Nokia Lumia 625 is expected to be around €220 Euros (excluding taxes), approximately ₹17,850.

Just a few days ago (9 August, Friday), Flipkart had opened the pre-booking window for Lumia 625's expensive metal-clad sibling, Lumia 925, with a price-tag of ₹33,999. Both Lumia smartphones are reportedly getting released in India around same time by the end of August.
