The maiden game of All Stars charity football match will be held on Saturday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The All Stars football Club consisting of Bollywood actors and Television artistes is captained by actor Abhishek Bachchan, while All Heart Football Club, which comprise of ace players of Indian cricket team, is captained by Virat Kohli.

All Stars football Club (ASFC) is a property of charitable trust, Playing for Humanity, that aims at raising fund for India's largest non-profit organisations, The Magic Bus, which will utilise the amount for providing better future to over one million poor children.

Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor, who are also the founders of the club, had been practicing for the event for quite a while.

"ASFC is a lot of fun. We plan to do great work. It's raising the awareness for a great game, to popularise it and to raise funds, and it's a very noble gesture and I'm looking forward to playing." Bachchan told Times of India.

After a practice session with the children of the NGO and giving a brief description of the organisation, Kapoor said, "I have supported this NGO earlier. It is a great institution which has encouraged sports. It is important to play sports as it teaches discipline, team work, trusting people and understanding game strategy," The Hindu reported.

"I have been playing football for the past two months. I met cricketers M. S. Dhoni and Virat Kohli recently and they asked me how good the actors are in this sport. It is not about winning or losing; we are playing for humanity."

The players have already geared up for the match and few took it to the micro blogging site to inform and lure the audience to attend the grand event.
