The official trailer of much-awaited film, "Lootera" starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, has been released and has recieved great response from the viewers.
'Lootera" is a romance drama set in the 50s era. The movie is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, who impressed the audience with his first movie "Udaan." The new movie features Ranveer as Varun and Sonakshi as a Bengali girl Pakhi.
The first look of the movie was released on Friday at the iconic Liberty Cinema in Mumbai. Ranveer and Sonakshi enacted a scene from their upcoming movie ahead of the trailer launch. This is the first that the two young actors have been paired in a film.
The "Lootera" team also showed a video which included behind the scene footage taken during the making of the film. The trailer looked interesting with soft music, vintage art-designs and impressive performances by both the lead actors.
The film is slated to release on 5 July 2013. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures as well as Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Movies.
