Indian mobile company Karbonn Mobiles has released as dual-SIM A30 smartphone, the smartphone runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.

Karbonn A30 smartphone is currently available at Saholic.com and it is priced ₹11, 500.

Karbonn Mobiles' A30 smartphone is a cheaper alternative to big screen smartphones like Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 which is priced more than ₹30, 000.

The line between  smartphone and a tablet is blurring with each release of big screen smartphones like Samsung's Galaxy Note series and HTC's recently released 5.0-inch J Butterfly.

Many technology market watchers predict that the year 2013 will be ruled by big screen smartphones dubbed as phablets - a hybrid between a phone and tablet (An average mini tablet measures at least 7.0-inch screen).

Karbonn's A30 sports a 5.9-inch display which is bigger than Galaxy Note 2, but the device is no match for Galaxy Note 2's quad-core Cortex-A9 processor.
