David Cameron Leaves Daughter Nancy, 8, In Pub And- Drives Off: Twitter Reacts
David Cameron's parenting skills have been put under question, after the British Prime Minister's office confirmed that he accidently left his 8-year-old daughter in a pub and drove off.
The incident, which took place months ago, happened during a tradition Sunday pub lunch near Chequers. His daughter Nancy had gone to the bathroom, while the rest of the family piled into two cars outside the pub. Cameron though Nancy was with his wife Samantha, while Samantha thought her daughter was with her husband, according to a report obtained by the Associated Press.
It was not until they got home that they realized Nancy was missing. "The prime minister and Samantha were distraught when they realized Nancy wasn't with them. Thankfully when they phoned the pub she was there safe and well," a spokesperson told the AP.
It took around 15 minutes for them to collect Nancy, who was being watched over by pub staff. Cameron and his wife took full responsibility for the incident
When the spokesperson was asked if the Prime Minister has been drinking during the lunch, she declined to comment saying, "He had gone with friends at lunchtime, with a number of families with children, and they left in various different vehicles."
"The prime minister is a very busy man but he always tries to live as normal a life as possible with his family," she told the AP.

According to the Sun newspaper, friends of the Prime Minister have revealed that he usually enjoys three or four glasses of wine with his Sunday lunch.
The incident took place just weeks after the British government introduced a program to give parents of young children classes on how to raise them.
"You'd have thought someone would have done a headcount or something," a local resident told the Sun Newspaper. "It's frightening the prime minister of Britain can forget something as important as his own daughter," they added.
The incident has sparked many comments on Twitter:
"David Cameron forgot one of his kids....and four million of ours," writes Red Ladder Theatre
"It's my dream to be left in a pub and forgotten about. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd like David Cameron to be my dad," Wrote Susan Calman.
