Well, Shilpa is following Aish's footsteps and is in no hurry to shed the baby weight. She has openly declared that "This is Viaan time" and all other things come after her bundle of joy.

Shilpa and hubby Raj Kundra named their little one "Viaan" this week, which means full of life and energy. Just a week after welcoming their first child together in the world, the duo introduced their Baby K to the Twitter world, too.

Aishwarya's weight gain after giving birth to daughter Aaradhya in November last year, has been perilously scrutinized all over the world. Aish never uttered a word in her defense but several celebrities came out in support of the actress.

Well, taking cue from Aish's incidence, Shilpa chose to speak for herself before any one dares to point a finger at her post-baby weight.

"New mothers should enjoy every phase of motherhood without caring about the world," she puts it subtly, adding that new mothers shouldn't break their head over losing weight instead they should enjoy the beautiful phase of their life.

In an interview with a national daily, Shilpa gushed a lot about her feelings and experiences as a new mother.

"It's such an amazing feeling. Viaan is teaching me a lot of things. I really value and respect all the mothers in the world," she told Hindustan Times. "My tiredness vanishes as I look at him."

Shilpa told the daily that Baby K is blessed with the best features of both mother and the father. Though the actress is extremely ecstatic to be blessed with an adorable baby boy, she still wishes it was a girl.

"I am very happy with Viaan. But maybe I would have been happier if the baby was a girl. I am very fond of girls," Shilpa said.

"My walk and pregnancy postures apparently indicated that it was a boy! But my Guruji prepared me to welcome a soul into the world, irrespective of gender," she said of the pre-delivery predictions by the family members and her Guruji.

Shilpa told the daily that little Viaan will make his first foreign visit in December, after he turns seven months, to his grandparents' house in London.

"Currently, his grandparents are here with us. But Viaan will go to London in the winter to celebrate his first Christmas there," Shilpa said.
