Gordon Ramsay Injury Video: The Celebrity Chef Hurts His Back in a Charity Soccer Match
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was briefly hospitalized on Sunday night after a tackle in a charity soccer match left him with a back injury.

Ramsay was playing in the Soccer Aid charity match in Manchester, England which features a team of English former soccer stars and celebrities against a team of celebrities and stars from the rest of the world that included Ramsay, Will Ferrell and Woody Harrelson.
Former star Teddy Sheringham who played professionally from 1983-2008 and who earned 51 caps for the English National Team, barged into the reality show star from behind as Ramsay attempted to corral a bouncing ball.
Sheringham banged into Ramsay and the pair collapsed. Sheringham bounced right up but Ramsay was taken off the field on a stretcher and then to a local hospital as a precaution.
He was released later that night and reassured his fans on Twitter that he was "sore but fine."
The Soccer Aid game, which the English stars won 3-1, raised £4 million for UNICEF this year, while the entire Soccer Aid charity effort had raised more than £6.5 million for the charity. The donations will be matched by the British government.
