Facebook CEO and tycoon, Mark Zuckerberg, recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Priscilla Chan. Here are some of the possible honeymoon destinations and ideas for the newlyweds.
A day after the opening of the initial public offering of Facebook, the chief executive posted a major change in his timeline. He is now married and no longer available to the ladies. Mark Zuckerberg and his bride, Priscilla Chan, got married at the backyard of their humble abode in Palo Alto, California, with fewer than 100 people in attendance composed mainly of family and friends, according to a source.
The source added that the guests have no idea that they will be attending a wedding. They thought that they will be attending a graduation party for Priscilla who graduated from medical school last week. Upon arriving, they learned that they were invited to witness the tying the knot of the Facebook CEO.
Every man deserves a break from work, including Zuckerberg. After the exclusive wedding and change in their Facebook timeline, many speculated how the Facebook leader will spend his honeymoon with his wife.
We list down the places where the couple can go to and spend some romantic time alone. See the slideshow for the photos of amazing locations.
One of the ideal locations for a honeymoon is Australia. Location-wise, the country is far from United States and is far from work (unless he will not go online and crunch some codes). Australia offers a lot adventures such as swimming and surfing the beach. Australia is also known for its very rich and diverse flora and fauna. Thus, this will offer a new ecological experience to the couple. Moreover, it also offers fine dining and artistic experience as the country is a patron of the arts, in general. Plus, it is only in Australia where you can find rose-colored diamonds that is a perfect gift and souvenir for the wife.
With the upcoming summer heat, Mark Zuckerberg may want to chill out on the beach and sand. Bora-Bora is one of the top destinations to celebrities. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi as well as Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr spent holidays in Bora-Bora. The white sand and the crystal clear waters will be apt for a romantic stroll on the seaside or a candlelit dinner by the beach.
There is nothing more romantic than to spend some time in the city of love. The couple may book a hotel and navigate their way in the city. Paris is also a place for the arts that will offer an intellectual experience for the couple.
The couple may exclaim “sugoi desu ne” when they set foot to Japan where modern and conventional culture meets. The experience may be different in a place where a language barrier is imminent. Moreover, Mark may get some ideas when it comes to innovative technology that he can add in his growing empire.
A gem of the South East. Philippines is an archipelago near Singapore that offers unique experience to the tourists. A large percentage of Filipinos can speak and understand English. Thus, navigating around the country may not be a problem. Moreover, there are a lot of tropical island resorts that the couple can book to enjoy their much-needed privacy. The country also offers great cuisine and other exhilarating activities.
