David Beckham is a football coach and player, endorser, celebrity, husband and father.

David Beckham is celebrating his 37^th birthday today. In his Facebook page, the football player shared that his sons cooked a hearty meal for him attached with a photo of a plate filled with eggs, sausage and bacon.

Beckham also got a framed jersey of Los Angeles Lakers' Magic Johnson, which he boasted in his page as well with a caption of "Best birthday present ever!!"

The most popular football player has played for different teams such as Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, and the England national team. He was the captain of the English national team from 2000 to 2006

Beckham has twice been runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year. He was the world's highest-paid footballer when taking into account salary and advertising deals in 2004. When joining the MLS in 2007 he was given the highest player salary in the league's history, with his playing contract with the Galaxy over the next three years being worth US$6.5m per year.

The football player is happily married to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and they are blessed to have four children, Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David, and Harper Seven. The couple's joint wealth is estimated at £125 million in 2009.
