Leaked T-Mobile Roadmap Reveals Samsung Galaxy S2 May Get ICS Update in May
T-Mobile users could receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update, according to a roadmap leak spotted by TmoNews.

The leaked roadmap shows that Galaxy S2, HTC Amaze and Sensation 4G will be receiving ICS updates very soon. Owners of Samsung Galaxy S2 could get its ICS update on 14 May. ICS updates for HTC's Sensation 4G and Amaze 4G are slated for 16 June.
The roadmap also shows new devices to be released: on 9 May Huawei Astro (low-end handset), the Huawei Buddy (myTouch Qwerty), Huawei Phoenix (myTouch Touchscreen only), and Samsung Gravity TXT on 11 July. The Samsung Cacao, T19 (low-end handset) will be out on 1 August and the Samsung Apex Q on 15 August.
It is reported that the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note and HTC One X are expected to arrive on T-Mobile which is not yet confirmed. T-Mobile is the fourth largest wireless carrier in the US.
According to IBTimes UK, BGR has received information about the smartphones line-up which will be available on Verizon this summer. It includes the Galaxy S3, but it is not clear when the carrier will start selling the Samsung smartphone.
"If AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile all carry the Galaxy S3, Verizon will need to have something special up its sleeve," claims Phones Review. Moreover, Verizon did not carry Galaxy S2 which might have disappointed Verizon users. Instead, the carrier opted to carry the Galaxy Nexus. This time tech fans are expecting Galaxy S3 to be carried by Verizon. It is reported that several Verizon subscribers are waiting for the Galaxy S3.
The new Samsung Kies application mentions the formal name of Samsung smartphone. It shows two versions, GT-I9300 and GT-I9300T. The "T" mentioned for the second version suggests the smartphone to be a available on T-Mobile as the T-Mobile Samsung Nexus S had an identical label, i9020T.
Tech fans will have to wait for the official confirmation about ICS updates for the devices.
