Beyonce Named Most Beautiful 2012; People’s Most Beautiful Women 2002-2012 [PHOTOS and VIDEO]

Singer Beyonce Knowles was named by People Magazine as this year's Most Beautiful.

People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman of 2012

Since 1990, People magazine names the Most Beautiful person in the world each year.

The singer beat more than a hundred celebrities and claimed the role as being most beautiful of them all. The 30-year-old songstress said that her beauty is due to the recent birth of daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, on January 7 with her husband rapper and music producer, Jay-Z.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," Beyonce told People.

"I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth." added the award-winning singer.

People's senior writer Alexis Chiu complemented the singer as being flawless and gorgeous.

"She is on top of her game career-wise, she's this music icon at 30 years old and on top of it she has this glow going on ... She's a new mom," the writer added.

Beyonce was named as most beautiful for nine times, just a little behind Nicole Kidman who was named 10 times and Julia Roberts who was named 13 times by different magazines.Beyonce toppled last year's Most Beautiful, Jennifer Lopez.
