Indian Actor Saif Ali Khan Booked for Punching Man in Taj Hotel
The Mumbai police Wednesday registered a case against Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan under section 325 of the IPC for allegedly assaulting a patron of the Taj Mahal Hotel in south Mumbai.

"A team of officers has gone to Saif's residence for further investigations and the further course will be decided later," Colaba region's Assistant Commissioner of Police Iqbal Shaikh was quoted as saying by IANS news agency.
Police will question Khan for the alleged assault and will decide whether to arrest the actor.
The incident happened Tuesday night at the Wasabi Restaurant of the Taj Mahal Hotel where Khan, accompanied by his girlfriend and actress Kareena Kapoor and some friends, was having dinner.
The victim, Iqbal Sharma, and his family were also having dinner at an adjoining table.
Sharma, who was disturbed by their ruckus, requested them to lower their voices. Khan, who was enraged by Sharma's, comment asked him to go to library to find peace and reportedly punched him on his face, breaking his nose.
Sharma Tuesday night went to the Colaba police station and lodged a complaint against Khan.
Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Arora Ladak were also reportedly present when the incident happened.
