Canwealth Files Six Claims In Northern Quebec
Canwealth Minerals and partner ICBS Tuesday filed mineral claims for properties across northern Quebec in their search for gold, silver and platinum.
Montreal-based Canwealth said six stakes were claimed in the James Bay area of northern Quebec representing more than 720 acres.
Canwealth holds seven mining properties covering 35,850 acres in north-central Quebec's Abitibi region and southwestern Quebec.
"The main thrust of the exploration will to be focused on sites that have a strong indication of precious minerals, such as gold, silver and platinum," the company said in a statement.
