India beat Sri Lanka by 4 Wickets

A fighting seventh wicket partnership of 53 runs between R Ashwin and R Jadeja helped India beat Sri Lanka by four wickets in the second One Day International (ODI) match of the Commonwealth Bank Series at the Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) Ground, here on Wednesday.

R Ashwin (30*) and R Jadeja (24*) remained unbeaten till the end as they helped India reach the winning score of 234 runs for the loss of six wickets in just 46.4 overs.

Virat Kohli remained the top scorer for India with his gutsy 77 runs innings.

Earlier, Sri Lanka had scored 233 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs.  

Off-spinner Ashwin was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he picked up three wicket by giving away only 32 runs in his 10 overs spell.
