Kim Jong-un: The ‘Great Successor’ of North Korea [PHOTOS]

Kim Jong-un, the youngest son of the late North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il, was a reclusive identity to the outside world till the death of his father on December 19.

Kim Jong-un, son of late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, makes an appearance at an Arirang and Mass Games venue in Pyongyang on 09/10/2010.

Jong-un, who is in his late 20s, was named the "Great Successor" immediately after his father's death.

The next head of the nuclear state, Kim Jong-un was said to be educated in a school on the outskirts of Bern in Switzerland under a false name "Pak Un". The school authorities were told he was the son of an employee at North Korea's embassy in Switzerland.
