RBI allows changes in Forex loan repayment

The Reserve Bank of India said on Tuesday banks may allow changes in the repayment of foreign currency borrowings if the average maturity of such debt is maintained.

Bank may also allow changes in the currency of borrowing to firms, so long as it is freely convertible, it said in a notification posted on its website www.rbi.org.in
