The phone measures 112.0 x 55.0 x 13.0 mm, weighs 126gm, is powered by ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz processor and PowerVR SGX graphics (just like the latest iPhone 3GS and Nokia N900), runs on Symbian Series 60 (5th edition) OS (which allows you to access useful apps) and boasts of 3.5-inch resistive touchscreen (16:9 widescreen aspect ratio) with 360x640 pixel resolution display.

Satio has onboard 128MB memory, microSD card slot (expandable up to 32GB; Satio ships with 8GB card), USB port, FM Stereo, HTML browser, accelerometer, media player with support for multiple audio and video formats, FM Radio, Java support (the phone supports Java games and applications), Bluetooth (2.0 with A2DP) and a Li-Po 1000mAh battery that promises enough power to keep Satio juiced up to 11 hours (talk time) and 360 hours (standby time).

The Satio is an excellent messaging device, thanks to its Exchange ActiveSync feature (which allows you to seamlessly stay synchronised with your Microsoft Exchange email server) and also doubles up as an entertainment center, thanks to accessibility to Sony PlayNow arena from where you can download movies and music tracks.

Transferring data has also never been easier thanks to Sony's Media Go feature, which allows you to seamlessly transfer your media files between your phone and PC via drag and drop. The Media Go feature also automatically converts films and music files to give you the best possible quality.

Satio is also road-ready for mobile internet use, thanks to its 3G, GPRS, EDGE and WLAN support.

The GPS (with A-GPS support) feature and pre-installed Google Maps also promises a wonderful mapping/navigation experience with Satio.

However, the most outstanding feature about Satio is its 12.1-megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom, image stabiliser, auto-focus, face and smile detection, red-eye reduction, geo-tagging, xenon flash and a secondary video LED flash. The Satio can also capture video at a decent 30fps.

Phew! Who would've thought that a phone so small could boast of features so rich?

And, that brings us to its price. Unfortunately, the Satio is not being sold cheap in India. It retails for Rs.35,950, but if you've got a fat paycheck from your boss recently, this is the right time to grab Satio and show your boss, who's boss.
