London - The sudden and untimely death of pop icon Michael Jackson has jeopardized the plans of AEG Live, organizers of the singer's much-hyped 50-show comeback UK tour named "This is It," which was scheduled to kick off on July 13.

"This is It" was seen as an effort to rehabilitate Jackson's public image and bolster his tottering finances and it was rumored that tickets for the show had sold out within minutes of going on sale in March.
However, the organizers of the show could now face legal trouble as the 750,000 fans who had bought tickets for the London gigs are demanding refund.
According to a source close to AEG Live, the organizers would not only have to refund close to $85 million worth of tickets but also they had invested $20 million in the promoting the tour as well, which would now go waste.
AEG Live had also parted with a "substantial" sum of money as advance payment to Michael Jackson when they had contracted with him.
