At the NDTV Indian Achievers awards show in New Delhi recently, Anil Kapoor quipped that he was glad that SRK said no to Slumdog Millionaire. "Thanks to Shah Rukh's rejection, I got the role," he said.
He then told Aamir Khan, who bagged the Indian Entertainer of the Year, that he too, should reject some roles, which will then come his way. To which, Aamir retorted, "I barely get to do one film in a year, so there is no question of saying no!" That made the Slumdog quizmaster shut up.
Well! Anil, we hope you don't repeat this humour-gone-awry kind of statements again since that's not what is expected of a star like you.
