Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane has said he and his teammates are full of confidence as they look to continue their run of good form by beating Arsenal in the north London derby on Sunday (8 November).

The 22-year-old has been in scintillating form recently, scoring five goals in his last three games, as Spurs remain unbeaten in the Premier League since their 1-0 loss to Manchester United on the opening day of the season.

Speaking after his sides 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa League, Kane said his side were relishing the chance to test themselves against Arsenal at the Emirates.

As a striker you want to be scoring goals and when youve scored a few in a row you just want the next game to come. I cant wait for the derby on Sunday and Im looking forward to it, as all the players are. Were going there on a big high and hopefully we can finish the week off well, he said.

Kane scored two goals to give Spurs a 2-1 victory against Arsenal in their last Premier League meeting, but has yet to play against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium. Whilst looking forward to the occasion, the Chingford-born forward was adamant his side could go on to take the full three points on the day.

Ive never played at the Emirates before and its going to be a good experience. But were going there to win. Theres going to be a good atmosphere and were going to have great away support there as we always do. So were looking forward to it, said Kane.

Tottenham have not beaten Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium since 2010, where the side came from two goals down to win 3-2 courtesy of strikes from Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and Younes Kaboul. A win would see Spurs close in to being only two points behind Arsenal, who are currently level on points at the top of the table with Premier League leaders Manchester City.
