The time has come for Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) to step in as the saviour of the Starling City in a new role, which will help him to directly interact with the people. But it will not be an easy task as new challenges will be waiting for him in the fourth episode of "Arrow" season4.

The sequel is titled "Beyond Redemption" and it is likely to feature the billionaire boy as a politician, who gets himself prepared to run for the Mayor's election with the support of his teammates.

Talking about his new role in The CW series, Amell revealed that it will help his character to strengthen his relationships, especially with his sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), who will get involved in his campaign.

"He's a different type of person in the political arena. I like Oliver the politician, and I also like anytime we can do something that weaves naturally into the canon of the Green Arrow characters," TV Line quoted the actor as saying.

The cast member even revealed that the new plot in the storyline will establish an interesting dynamic between his character and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). "As we saw in the second episode this year, Darhk does not react too kindly to people running for mayor. He doesn't want anyone to be mayor. He doesn't want any galvanising force or goodness in the city. So this puts everyone at odds," he teased.

The official synopsis of the upcoming sequel read as below:

Laurel (Katie Cassidy) must deal with the repercussions of taking Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) to Nanda Parbat. Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) asks Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) for a favor and while he's not surprised at the response, he is surprised at what he finds out next.
