Are Vineeth Sreenivasan and Divya Narayanan expecting their first baby?

2017 seems to be a special year for the young stars in Mollywood, including Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali, as they welcome the new baby girls into their families. Now, rumour is that Vineeth Sreenivasan, who dons multiple hats (actor-singer-director-producer), might be the new member to join the league first-time parents.

Rumours around Divya's pregnancy started doing the rounds since she attended the engagement and wedding ceremony of her brother-in-law, Dhyan Sreenivasan. Reports suggest that Divya is currently staying with her parents in Chennai as the couple is expecting the baby by the third week of June. If the rumours turn out to be true, then Vineeth is expected to take a short break from his acting profession. However, Vineeth or his other family members are yet to confirm the news.

Vineeth and Divya, who met during their college days in Chennai, entered wedlock in October 2012 after eight years of relationship.

On the work front, Vineeth, who helmed Nivin Pauly's Jacobinte Swargarajyam, was last seen in Srikant Murali's directorial venture, Aby, which opened to positive response from the audience. The actor is awaiting the release of Leo Thadhevoos's Oru Cinemaakkaran opposite Kerala State Best Actress Award winner, Rajisha Vijayan. The movie has been scheduled to hit the screens as an Eid release and will be pitted against Prithviraj Sukumaran's Tiyaan, Fahadh Faasil's Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum and multi-starrer Avarude Raavukal at the Kerala box office.
