Actress Aparna Balamurali is just two-movies-old, but her turn as Jimcy in the Fahadh Faasil-starrer "Maheshinte Prathikaram" has impressed the audience in Kerala.

The actress, who was seen in a simple traditional avatar in the Dileesh Pothan directorial, has surprised fans with her stunning stylish look on the cover page of the latest issue of lifestyle magazine FWD Life. While some fans have accepted her makeover, a few others have criticised the actress for her new avatar.

Aparna looks different and bold on the cover of the FWD Life magazine, in a silver top, violet palazzo pants with green lipstick. The magazine also has a feature titled "In Other Worlds" on the actress, who has "hit the streets of filmdom with panache [sic]."

The April issue of the magazine was launched by Aparna along with Srinda Arhaan and Shani Shaki at an April 5 event at the Lulu Atrium in Kochi, for which both the actresses arrived in modern looks — something they had not been seen before in. While Aparna was seen in a knee-length black dress, Srinda wore a black top, a lengthy floral skirt and completed her look with geek glasses.

On the career front, Aparna, who was last seen opposite Fahadh in "Maheshinte Prathikaram," is said to be one of the lead actresses in director Jude Anthony Joseph's upcoming movie "Oru Muthassi Gadha." Meanwhile, Srinda, who was last seen in Dileep-Mamta Mohandas-starrer "Two Countries," is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming movies "Kinder Joyee" and "Adventures of Omanakuttan."
