The much-awaited wedding of this year has finally happened – Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are now officially married. The couple tied the knot on December 11 in Italy.

As soon as the duo's wedding reports confirmed, social media was filled with videos and pictures of the beautiful newlywed. Bollywood celebrities too congratulated the couple.

Anushka and Virat – Virushka – took their wedding vows as per the traditional Hindu rituals and only close friends and family members were invited.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli said in a joint statement: "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."

Post their wedding, the newlywed couple will be shifting to their new residence in Worli, Mumbai.
