Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are now officially married as the couple tied the knot on December 11 in Italy. The wedding was a private affair, which didn't include any celebrities from Bollywood or sports.
As soon as reports confirmed the duo's marriage, social media was filled with the videos and pictures of the newlywed couple.
Anushka and Virat – Virushka – took their wedding vows as per the traditional Hindu rituals and the auspicious ceremony was reportedly graced by close friends and family members of the bride and the groom.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli said in a joint statement: "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
Post wedding, they will be shifting to their new residence in Worli, Mumbai in December after returning from Delhi.
