The upcoming Malayalam movie, "10 Kalpanakal," directed by renowned film editor Don Max, started rolling at Vagamon in Idukki on Monday, April 25. Anoop Menon, who plays the lead role in the movie along with Meera Jasmine and Kaniha, announced that he had joined the team at the Kuttikanam location on Wednesday.
"10 kalpanakal....first directorial from ace editor don max starts in kuttikanam...co starring Meera jasmine and Kaniha this is probably one of the most exciting scripts I have come across...solicit your blessings [sic]," Anoop wrote on his Facebook page.
With the crime drama, Meera, who was staying away from limelight for quite some time now, is making her comeback to Malayalam movies with a strong role. She will be seen as a stylish police officer in a never-seen-before avatar in the movie.
Written by Sangeeth Jain and featuring additional scripting by Sooraj and Neeraj, the movie is the debut directorial venture of Don, who has been a part of the South Indian entertainment industry as a successful editor since 2005.
"10 Kalpanakal" also stars Murali Gopi, Thampy Antony, Joju George and Anumol in pivotal roles. The upcoming movie is the joint production venture of Jiji Anchani, Manu Padmanabhan Nair, Jacob Koeypuram and Biju Thoranathel.
