Malayalam film "Trivandrum Lodge", starring Jayasurya, Honey Rose and Anoop Menon, was a commercial hit in 2012. The film, written by Anoop and directed by VK Prakash, is all set to get its sequel soon, as confirmed by the actor on Friday, 11 December.

While "Trivandrum Lodge" dealt with themes of sexual frustration, perversion and voyeurism, the upcoming film will have a different combination of actors and technicians.

Anoop has also promised that the sequel of the bold thriller will be a feel-good, feel-better film.

"TRIVANDRUM LODGE 2..Three years after our take on the pseudo moralistic hypocrisy in the society we are planning a sequel to the original with a different combination of actors and technicians..the first installment was a runaway hit, welcomed with a deluge of praise and standing ovations as well with brickbats and rotten tomatoes in equal measure......but the positive irony was that it later had one of the maximum re-runs for a film in the channels meant for the families...the sequel will be in the ""feel good, feel better"" genre ..........soliciting all your support..., (sic)" Anoop posted on his Facebook page.

"Trivandrum Lodge" was produced under the banner of Time Ads Entertainment by P A Sebastian, and was also popular for its music, composed by M Jayachandran.

Meanwhile, Anoop, who was last seen in Mohanlal starrer "Kanal", is awaiting the release of G Marthandan directorial "Pavada" with Prithviraj Sukumaran and directors Visakh, Vivek and Vinod's film "Maalgudi Days", opposite Bhamaa.
