Smartphone leader, Samsung has reportedly begun to roll out the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean to the Exynos variant of the company's 2013 flagship model Galaxy S4.

Samsung dedicated blog SamMobile has confirmed that the Galaxy S4 (GT-19500) models, featuring Exynos 5 Octa-core processor have started receiving v4.3 Jelly Bean updates in Russia. So far the firmware release is limited to only the northern Eurasian nation.

The Exynos chipset based Galaxy S4 in India and other developing markets in South East Asia and Middle East are also expected to receive new OS update in few days time, as it is being released in phases.

The news comes just a day after Samsung began Android v4.3 Jelly Bean rollout for the snapdragon Galaxy S4 (GT-19505) variants in Europe (Germany).

Once installed, the new OS update is said to make the Galaxy S4 compatible with recently released Galaxy Gear smartwatch and is also reported to bring in company's custom security apps Samsung Wallet and Samsung Knox . Other improvements include TRIM support (makes smartphone faster), ANT+ support as well enhanced display colour reproduction, TouchWiz launcher, new camera application, new keyboard feature, bring in efficiency in RAM management, and other minor improvements in the overall  functioning of the smartphone.

Description of Key enhancements to be seen in Android v4.3 Jelly Bean:

Keyboard and input: The keypad is said get an improved algorithm for tap- typing making text messaging less cumbersome. It is also said to enhance gamepad.

Dial Pad: enhanced Auto-complete feature will predict more accurate phone-number and names. Users can go to phone settings to enable or disable the option.

Location: Feature will detect hot-spots without turning on the Wi-Fi mode all the time.

Settings: New tab is introduced to let users check which apps are disabled or enabled.

Language support: More dialects have been enabled in the new Jelly Bean OS and now it can support Hindi as well.

Network: Bluetooth Smart (Low Energy) support will help the smartphone use less power while transferring data.   

Daydream:  This new feature will enable users to browse through the photos via easily accessible albums.

Restricted Access: Once updated with 4.3 Jelly Bean, users can create profiles for guest user with restricted access to apps and other contents.

According to reports, Samsung's 2012 marquee smartphones- Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 are also expected to get the new v4.3 Jelly update around late November or early December this year.
