Soon after Android 4.4.3 KitKat update began rolling out to Nexus devices, American telephone firm, Motorola has announced the roll out of the latest Android software to its flagship Moto smartphones this week.

"We (Motorola) are excited to announce some icing on top of the, well, KitKat. Starting today, we are rolling out Android™ 4.4.3, KitKat®, which was just released by Google," said Steve Horowitz, SVP, Software Engineering, Motorola.

The company has initiated the process of updating the flagship smartphone Moto X (T-Mobile variant) first in USA and also officially revealed the change log of the new software. Android 4.4.3 brings in several stability, framework and security fixes in addition to accuracy improvements to the power profile of the smartphones.

Other two Moto series smartphones- G and E are slated to receive the update by this weekend in USA, but the details of Motorola devices getting the new update in global market are yet to be ascertained. Going by history, it might take a week or two to rollout Android 4.4.3 across international markets. 

To check for OTA update on your Motorola Moto series phone:

Go to Settings >> scroll down and tap About Phone >> and, click 'System updates'

Beside Nexus devices -Nexus 5, 4 and Nexus tablets 10 and 7 (2012 & 2013) and, Motorola smartphones, Android 4.4.3 KitKat has been rolled out via OTA (Over-The-Air) to Google Play Edition (GPE) devices- HTC One (M8 & M7), Galaxy S4, and Sony Xperia Z Ultra in USA.
