Debutant Akshara Haasan is in awe of her co stars in her upcoming movie "Shamitabh". Akshara, daughter of actor and film maker Kamala Haasan poured praises on her co stars Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush at a press conference at London.

"In the beginning, I was uncertain and I was really scared. It was my first film and I didn't know how I would perform. Balki sir actually helped me prepare well before the film and I when I got on the set both Mr. Bachchan and Dhanush made me feel so comfortable and at such ease, so it made me lot easier to perform, " said Akshara at the press conference. For Dhanush, who has done more than 25 movies in South, "Shamitabh" is his second Hindi movie. The actor said that the movie was a great opportunity for him to learn from the best like Amitabh Bachchan, R Balki, PC Sreeram and Ilayaraja.

"Balki is a task master; he knows what he wants and takes out the best from his actors. I am very thankful for giving me this character, this script and "Shamitabh". Working with Amitji is a dream comes true. Every actors dream is to work with him and learn from him. To see him perform live infront of you was really amazing. I wish there was more days to learn from him" Dhanush explained.

Talking about working with R Balki, the Sr.Bachchan said the director thinks diffrrently and has always made stories that are different from regular Bollywood flicks. He also said that the way Balki expresses his thoughts through the dialogues are exceptional.

"Balki has a very intellectual sensitive mind, he thinks differently and he has always made stories that have not been regular escapist fare that you see in Hindi cinema. It is just not the plot of the film but the way he expresses through his dialogue, they are quite exceptional. I think I can say with certain amount of confidence that this is perhaps the kind of plot that has never been seen before at least in Indian cinema. It has been a great joy to live in his thought process," the ace actor said.

The story of "Shamitabh" revolves around two different people who have unique qualities and are exceptional in their own fields. At the same time, they lack something which the other has and the movie talks about how these two extremely egoistic individuals come together and make progress in their lives.

"Shamitabh", which deals with the world of cinema and acting, is scheduled to hit theatres on 6 February.
