American Idol XIV 2015 semi-finals results will be announced tonight with the top 16 contestants (eight male and eight female) having performed last week to impress the judges - Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban – and the American audience. Top 12 finalists will be revealed in tonight's episode.

The number of contestants was narrowed down from 24 to 16 last week before it is trimmed to just 12 tonight, which means two ladies and two men who get least vote will be sent home.

Top 12 finalists of American Idol XIV 2015 will be revealed in the episode to be aired on Wednesday, 11 March at 8/7c PM on FOX and America's votes will decide their fate in the competition.

Last week, eight contestants - Katherine Winston, Shi Scott, Lovey James, Shannon Berthiaume, Savion Wright, Michael Simeon, Trevor Douglas, and Riley Bria were eliminated.

Top eight male and female contestants performed again last week with the hope of impressing the audience. Going by their performance, it looks like Alexis, Loren, Daniel, Mark, Rayvon, and Adam could be in danger of being eliminated by it is the American audience who will decide who goes home tonight.
