With the top eight guys having performed live in the semi-finals of the American Idol XIV 2015 on Wednesday, the remaining top eight girls will hit the stage tonight with the hope of impressing the American audience and the judges - Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban.

Out of the 12 female contestants remaining in the competition, eight of them will be called out to perform live on Thursday, which means the other four are eliminated. So, it is still not known who will perform tonight.

The remaining contestants are Tyanna Jones, Adanna Duru, Jax Cole, Sarina-Joi Crowe, Shi Scott, Loren Lott, Shannon Berthiaume, Lovey James, Joey Cook, Alexis, Maddie Walker, and Katherine Winston.

Going by last week's performance, contestants like Shi, Shannon, Lovey, Adanna and Alexis could be in danger of elimination.

Live performance of top eight male contestants will be aired on Thursday, 5 March at 8/7c PM on FOX and America will decide their fate in the competition through their votes.

On Wednesday, four semi-finalists - Savion Wright, Michael Simeon, Trevor Douglas, and Riley Bria were eliminated from the show.

Daniel Seavey: He performed Marvin Gaye's "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)".

Mark Andrew: He sang The Temptations' "Papa Was A Rolling Stone".

Rayvon Owen: He performed the song, "My Girl" by The Temptations.

Adam Ezegelian: He rendered The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back".

Clark Beckham: He sang "The Tracks Of My Tears" by The Miracles.

Nick Fradiani: He sang Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours."

Qaasim Middleton: He performed Stevie Wonder's "I Wish".

Quentin Alexander: He performed Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster (Jammin')".
