"American Idol 2016" (season 15) semi-finals 2 results will be announced tonight. The 12 singers, who performed solo on Wednesday, will perform duet with former American Idol contestants tonight before judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. take the call on who progresses to the next round and who goes home.

Seven contestants will advance to the next level of the competition, while the other five get eliminated, based on their performances this week. The semi-finals 2 results episode will be telecast on Thursday at 8/7c PM on FOX.

Solo performance recap and duet partner

Shelbie Z: She took on Gretchen Wilson's "Work Hard, Play Harder" and it was a good performance. She should be safe. Her duet partner for Thursday's episode is Constantine Maroulis.

Manny Torres: He performed Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime." It was a good rendition, though his stage movement affected his performance to some extent. His duet partner for Thursday's show is Jordin Sparks.

Kory Wheeler: He sang James Bay's "Let It Go" and it was an average performance. He will perform with Haley Reinhart on Thursday and that will decide his fate in the show.

Amelia Eisenhauer: She performed Avicii's "Wake Me Up" and it was a good performance. There were a few shaky moments, but it was good, overall. She will perform with Kellie Pickler tonight.

Jenn Blosil: She sang "Sorry" by Justin Bieber. It was an ordinary rendition. It is to be seen if her duet performance with Constantine Maroulis on Thursday will save her.

CJ Johnson: He sang Edwin McCain's "I'll Be." It was an average performance. He will perform with David Cook during Thursday's results episode.

Lee Jean: He took on the song "Runaway" by Ed Sheeran and it was an average rendition. His duet partner for Thursday's episode is Chris Daughtry.

Trent Harmon: He sang Chris Stapleton's "What Are You Listening To?" and it was perhaps the best performance of the night. He will perform with Jordin Sparks tonight.

Tristan McIntosh: She rendered Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl" on Wednesday and it was an average performance. It is to be seen if her duet performance with Kellie Pickler turns out good.

Adam Lasher: He sang Sam Sparro's "Black and Gold" and it was a good performance despite a few shaky moments. He will perform with Haley Reinhart on Thursday.

Dalton Rapattoni: He took on the song "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol and it turned to be a good rendition. His duet partner for Thursday's episode is Chris Daughtry.

Olivia Rox: She performed the song, "Confident" by Demi Lovato. She started on a good note, before losing balance thereafter. Overall, it was an average performance. She will perform with David Cook on Thursday.

So, who do you think will be sent home on Thursday? Going by Wednesday's performance, Kory Wheeler, Jenn Blosil, CJ Johnson, Lee Jean, Olivia Rox and Tristan McIntosh can be in danger, but they have one more performance to go and it is the judges who will take the final call. So, the suspense remains.
