The American Idol Season 13 has gained popularity since the premiere of its auditions last week, and it is moving to Atlanta tonight.

The Atlanta auditions will be premiered live on Thursday at 8:00 PM EST (6:30 am IST, Friday) on FOX. Salt Lake City and Omaha auditions will be aired by the end of the month.

The American reality show kicked off last week with Boston audition before moving to Austin and San Francisco. Several talented youngsters like Marrialle Sellars, Sam Woolf, Ethan Thompson, Kaitlyn Jackson, Rachel Rolleri, Savion Wright, Munfarid Zaidi and many others, were given tickets to Hollywood.

Detroit auditions on Wednesday saw 40 candidates, including Keri Lynn Roche, Julian Miller, Olivia Diamond, Paris Primeau, Malaya Watson, Bryan Watt and several others getting tickets to Hollywood, taking the total to 119 so far with more auditions in line.

If the judges - Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. - shared incredible chemistry in last week's episodes, Wednesday saw them revealing their humorous side, bringing the house down with their witty comments.

American Idol has picked momentum, becoming the top-rated show on Wednesday. Its viewership this week dropped by 12 percent as compared to last week but FOX comfortably beats ABC and NBC networks with the talent show drawing 13.2-million viewers on average, giving hope that its rating would pick up after a slide last year.
