The makers of "Rangoon" are reportedly having second thoughts about starring Kangana Ranaut in "Rangoon". Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bharadwaj are apparently not able to deal with the "Queen" actress' demands.

The makers have decided to star Kangana along with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in "Rangoon". But, some of her demands are forcing the makers to rethink their decision.

The actress has asked the makers to name her as the co-director of the film. "Kangana has told them she wanted to be billed as co-director of the film. This would be a first in Bollywood if the makers agree to her demand. Never before has the leading lady of a film wanted to share credit with the director. And that too, someone established and respected like Vishal," DNA quoted a source.

"I don't see Vishal agreeing to this. The makers are talking to her and trying to make her see sense," the insider added.

This is not the first time that Kangana has made headlines for such demands. She has been billed as a cinematographer in her latest flick, "Katti Batti", and she was named as one of the dialogue writers in "Queen".

However, such demands made her lose Ekta Kapoor's film. She had a fall out with Ekta when she demanded to release her version of the final cut.

Meanwhile, the makers of "Rangoon" have not confirmed the details as yet. Kangana sounded excited to be part of the project when she talked about the storyline.

"It is a film which is set in the 1940s during the World War II. It is about three characters and one of them is a superstar and her mentor, who she is romantically involved with. Another one is a soldier. It is about INA, independence and so many other things. It is a very passionate love story," Kangana told Press Trust of India.

The "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actress will next be seen in Ketan Mehta's "Rani Laxmibai" and Hansal Mehta's "Simran" after her latest release "Katti Batti" opposite Imran Khan.
