Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor promoted their much-awaited upcoming film "2 States", at an event for the country's leading hair care brand Sunsilk, at Taj Land's End, Mumbai on 28 March.
The lead stars of "2 States" was also seen entertaining the audiences at the event.
"2 States" is a romantic comedy about a couple from two different states of India who fall in love during their studies and decide to get married. But parents on both sides do not agree with their decision. The duo fight for their love and try to convince the parents.
"2 States" is loosely based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat. Besides Alia and Arjun, the film also stars Amrita Singh, Revathy, Ronit Roy and Shiv Kumar Subramaniam in pivotal roles.
"2 States" has been directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and is set to release on 18 April.
