Akshay Kumar has lauded a Mumbai police constable for saving a woman's life with his prompt action. The actor has tweeted a video of a terrifying moment at a train station where the woman passenger is seen falling off a running train and the constable comes to her rescue immediately.

"Had my heart in my mouth literally! Salute to constable Pawan Tayde of Lonavala police station for his presence of mind and swift action," Akshay tweeted.

In his Instagram account, Akshay, who had essayed the role of a soldier in Holiday, said that the policemen are the real heroes. "I've said it before and saying it again, these men in uniform are the real heroes," he posted.

Ever since the Rustom actor posted the video online, several people have shared the video saluting constable Tayde for his presence of mind.

On the work front, Akshay is basking the glory with the success of his last film Rustom, which went on to break several records. The actor is currently busy shooting for Jolly LLB 2. There are also reports that the actor has teamed up with Paresh Rawal and director Priyadarshan for Rohit Shetty's next production venture.
