Attari/Amritsar, Jan 05 (ANI): The Shiromani Akali Dal held a protest near the Attari international border on Monday to pitch for "greater vigilance along the border with Pakistan" to stop the flow of narcotics into the state. The Punjab government is fighting allegations of rampant drug use and trade in Punjab especially after Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Revenue Minister Bikram Majithia in the drug racket. The SAD government is now trying to shift blame to the BSF. Two-hour-long sit-ins will also be held near Hussainiwala and Sadqi check points in Amritsar, Ferozepur and Fazilka border districts respectively. Meanwhie, Congress held protest against Shiromani Akali Dal in Amritsar.
