Ever since Shahid Kapoor teamed up with Vikramaditya Motwane's next "AK Vs SK", speculations regarding the interesting title have been doing the rounds.

According to latest a report, "AK Vs SK" stands for Anurag Kashyap and Shahid Kapoor, who will play themselves in the film. "Vikramaditya is highlighting the ugly journey of a director and actor in the film. Anurag Kashyap is shown as a filmmaker whose big budget film tanks miserably at the box office," a source told Deccan Chronicle.

Talking about the plot of the film, the source added: "So Anurag, after a box office dud, wants to cast Shahid Kapoor for his next film. But given Anurag's recent track record, Shahid doesn't give him much attention and acts pricey. In a desperate situation, Anurag kidnaps Shahid Kapoor's wife as a bait for him to say 'yes' to the project."

Earlier, there were news that "AK Vs SK" has Shahid's wife Mira Rajput, but the actor's spokesperson slammed the rumours. However, according to latest reports, Mira will be a part of the film. "Yes, the reports are true. Most likely it will be Shahid's wife Mira Rajput who will be cast in the film. This journey, which starts on a fun and easy note, turns into a dark revenge film," added the source.

The film will go on floors soon and is likely to be released next year.

Meanwhile, the "Haider" actor is busy promoting his upcoming film "Shaandaar" (releasing on 22 October) along with lead actress Alia Bhatt. He will next be seen in "Udta Punjab" alongside Alia and ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Later, Shahid will start shooting for "Rangoon" opposite Kangana Ranaut and he has reportedly signed the Hindi remake of Telugu fiction film "Magadheera".
