Latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is about the audio launch date of Ajith's film "Arrambam".

Earlier, it was speculated that the audio of "Arrambam" will be released on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. But it seems thar fans have to wait a little longer for that to happen.

Rumours are rife that the songs, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, will be released in the mid-September. According to Behindwoods, there are talks that the audio launch has been fixed for 19 September. However, an official announcement on the same is yet to be made.

"Arrambam" is directed by Vishnu Vardhan, who has teamed up with Ajith for the second time post the success of 2007-release "Billa". "Arrambam", an action-thriller flick, has Ajith sharing screen space with Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee Pannu and Rana Dagubatti.

Ever since "Arrambam" went on floors, there have been several claims about the film's story and the characters played by the lead actors. It was speculated that the film will be in the lines of "Billa". However, Vishnu Vardhan has refuted those reports revealing that "Arrambam" will not be a stylish gangster flick like "Billa", but will have action at its core.

The director has also disclosed that the Ajith starrer will be an action-packed, fast-paced entertainer that will definitely impress the audience. Moreover, he clarified that Arya will be play the role of a hacker, contrary to reports that Ajith will appear in such a character.

"Arrambam" has been confirmed to get released on Diwali. The film is all set to head for a big showdown with Arya's "Irandam Ulagam" and Karthi's "All in All Azhagu Raja". Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam 2" was expected to hit the screens on the same day, but buzz is that the versatile actor wants his film to have a solo release in November or December to get maximum number of screens.
