Award-winning film "Kahaani", through which Vidya Balan stole millions of hearts with her performance, was first offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

In an interview with Filmfare magazine, Aishwarya revealed that she was the initial choice for Sujoy Ghosh directorial. As the actress was pregnant with Aaradhya when Ghosh had offered her the film, she refused to take it.

"He was then asking me for 'Kahaaniwhen I was full bloom pregnant. He joked you would have been an actor without the fake stomach," Aishwarya told Filmfare magazine.

"I am so glad that Vidya did it and she was wonderful at it," the actress further added.

The October edition of the magazine has Aishwarya on its cover page and it also consists of her interview, in which she has talked about her post-pregnancy weight and motherhood.
