Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally lost her post-pregnancy weight. The 39-year-old actress, a doting mother to baby Aaradhya, looked stunningly beautiful and slim in Indian attire, at Kalyan Jewellers showroom inauguration in Mumbai on Sunday.
Aishwarya, who is the brand Ambassador of Kalyan Jewellers, recently inaugurated two showrooms at Thane and Vashi in the presence of TS Kalyanaraman, CMD of Kalyan Jewellers and Executive Directors Rajesh Kalyanaraman and Ramesh Kalyanaraman.
The actress wore two beautiful dresses during the inauguration ceremony on Sunday. For the first event she wore a full length bright yellow suit, and for the second event an emerald green Anarkali suit.
Later in the day, she performed at the 50th edition of the Ponds Femina Miss India 2013 event to a song from the film "Guzaarish". This is the first time the actress gave a stage performance since her pregnancy in 2011.
Aishwarya, who was criticised for her post-pregnancy weight gain, has shed her "oodles of weight". She looked slimmer and much more beautiful in the photos posted on the official Facebook page of Kalyan Jewellers.
The Mangalorean beauty is getting back to her original figure and one of the reasons for the weight loss could be her return to films. Recently, there were reports suggesting that the actress might make a comeback in a dark thriller in which she would be paired opposite 25-year-old Varun Dhawan. However, she has not confirmed the reports.
