Actress Aishwarya Rai arrived at an event in Mumbai to celebrate Gudi Padwa festival with husband Abhishek Bachchan on Saturday.
Gudi Padwa is celebrated to welcome the beginning of a new age. It is the first day of the Chaita month to mark the starting of New Year according to the luni-solar Hindu calendar. Even, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh celebrate their new year on the same day, which is known as 'Ugadi'.
At the Gudi Padwa event, the "Jazbaa" actress graced it with her breathtaking beauty. She appeared in an off-white anarkali suit and greeted the crowd with a smile on her face.
Even, Abhishek complimented his life partner in white kurta pyjama and saffron colour Nehru-style jacket over it.
The couple offered prayers by following the traditional rituals and celebrated the festival with the huge crowd.
