Actor Abhishek Bachchan has planned to rent a home in Chicago so that wife Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya could stay with him during his three-month shoot for "Dhoom 3".
The actor who can't seem to stay away from his family for long has taken cue from co-star Aamir Khan, who has also rented an apartment for Kiran Rao and eight-month-old son Azad Rao Khan.
According to reports, Aamir had reportedly turned down YRF's hotel suite offer and chose a rented apartment for his wife and son, so that he could stay with them.
"Though Yashraj wanted to hire a suite in one of the best hotels in Chicago for Aamir, Kiran and Azaad but Aamir declined the offer. He preferred a rented apartment. In this way he cut down Yashraj's accommodation budget in Chicago for Aamir by nearly 60 percent. But the main reason why Aamir opted to stay in a rented place is the ghar ka mahaul. The homely environment is what turns Aamir on these days," a close friend of Kiran and Aamir told The Times of India.
Abhishek too has decided to opt for a homely environment until the shooting of "Dhoom 3" is over.
"Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya will be joining Abishek soon in Chicago. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan too are following them. The whole family wishes to get some time together away from home and prying eyes," a source told The Times of India.
"Dhoom 3" is the third instalment of the Dhoom series directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. The movie features Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
