Makers of the upcoming movie "Airlift", starring Akshay Kumar, have released the official trailer of the film. The movie is based on the true incident of India's biggest human evacuation mission during the 1990 Gulf War. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Kuwait-based powerful Indian businessman Ranjait Katyal, and Nimrat Kaur will be seen as his wife.

The trailer of "Airlift" has been much awaited ever since the film's teaser was released. While the teaser itself was good enough to give goosebumps, the trailer will make you restless for the film.

The trailer reveals a bit about the movie's plot. Thousands of Indians residing in Kuwait were stuck as Iraq invaded the country. While Katyal could have easily escape the hostile scenario with his family, the brave Indian chose to stay back until he could make favourable arrangements for all the other Indians in Kuwait. Along with much action and thrill, the trailer gives a glipmse of international politics and also Indian brotherhood.

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, "Airlift" will exhibit India's biggest-ever evacuation, in which 1.7 lakh Indians were airlifted using 488 flights in just 59 days, and Akshay Kumar, playing the role of Ranjit Katyal, had a pivotal role in the mission.
