The Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) will conduct the re-examination of All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 on 25 July.

Students, who had registered for the 3 May entrance examination for medical colleges, will not have to apply again. The CBSE is likely to issue fresh admit cards for the retest.

"No fresh applications will be accepted for this examination and it will be a retest only in respect of the candidates who had applied within the stipulated time from 01/12/2014 to 31/01/2015 with requisite fee," the CBSE release stated.

The education board released the date, acting on the supervision of the Supreme Court that had cancelled the 3 May test.

The apex court has directed the CBSE to conduct fresh entrance test and declare the results by 17 August.

The top court's decision came amidst paper leak and cheating allegations along with ongoing investigation.

The information on the venues and timings for the AIPMT 2015 retest will soon be available on the official website of CBSE.
