After "Kasaba" director Nithin Renji Panicker, another celebrity kid is set to make a mark in the Malayalam entertainment industry. Filmmaker Shaji Kailas' and actress Annie's elder son Jagan SK, who has earlier directed a short film, helms an upcoming action-oriented musical video.
The musical video, titled "Kari," has the tunes and beats of popular music band Masala Coffee. Ahaana Krishna, who made her acting debut in Rajeev Ravi's "Njan Steve Lopez" in 2014, makes her comeback to acting with the music video, which was shot after a week-long rehearsal session in Thiruvananthapuram. The actress, who is the daughter of Malayalam actor Krishnakumar, is said to have performed few action sequences in "Kari."
"Happy and Excited to share what's in store next :) Basically A lot of Adi and Idi :P KARI , directed by Jagan Shaji Kailas and the tunes and beats of MASALA COFFEE [sic]," Ahaana posted on her Facebook page. Without revealing much details, the actress has also announced that she has signed for another Malayalam movie two years after starring opposite Farhaan Faasil.
Meanwhile, Shaji Kailas had earlier shared the video of Jagan's short film "Bandham," which was opened to positive response from the audience, on his Facebook page. "Being a dad is happy...But being proud of children is more than just happiness...My son Jagan Kailas has proved it with his prime short film #Bandham [sic]," the "Narasimham" director had posted on his social media page.
