After Thala 57, Akshara Haasan signs Vishal's Thupparivalan

Akshara Haasan, younger daughter of Kamal Haasan, has signed her second film in Tamil. After Ajith's forthcoming movie, she has now bagged Vishal's next flick Thupparivalan.

Vishal himself announced the news on Twitter and posted, "Happy 2 announce another addition to our #Thupparivalan cast.a warm welcome to @AksharaHaasan1 aka akshu.gna b damn exciting n rivettiing.GB [sic]."

It is believed that Akshara Haasan has an important role in Thupparivalan, which also has Prasanna and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead. However, the actress is yet to formally confirm the news and open up on the role that she is playing in the upcoming movie, which has the music of Arrol Corelli.

Thupparivalan is an action thriller, written and directed by Mysskin. The movie hit the floors in March and is bankrolled by Vishal himself under his home banner of Vishal Film Factory. The regular shooting started in September.

Coming back to Akshara Haasan, she made her acting debut in Bollywood movie Shamitabh in which she had paired up opposite Dhanush. She is now making her Tamil debut with Ajith's next film, which is presently referred to as Thala 57.

Akshara Haasan will be seen as the second female lead in Thala 57, which has Kajal Aggarwal playing the role of Ajith's wife. Also, she is currently assisting her father in his upcoming movie Sabaash Naidu.
