Celebrities pay a huge price for name and fame. Many Bollywood bigwigs are under legal scanner for smoking in public just because they are public figures.

In May last, it was Shah Rukh Khan, who was served a summon by Jaipur court for smoking in public at the Sawai Man Singh stadium during an IPL match between his team KKR and Rajasthan Royals on April 8.

This time, it's Bollywood's heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor who has landed up in a soup over allegedly smoking in public while he was shooting for his latest film, "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" with ex-girlfriend, actress Deepika Padukone in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

An Udaipur resident, Harish Vaishnav, who saw the pictures of the actor smoking publicly in a local newspaper, has reportedly complaint against him in the city court on Friday.

The photographs were published in some local vernacular dallies of the city on May 28.

"A copy of the summon reached us on Saturday evening. He is being booked for violation of Section 5 of Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act," Zee News quoted Harendra Singh, in-charge of Ghanta Ghar police station as saying.

"Our personnel will visit the actor in Mumbai next week to hand over the summons to him," he added.

A complaint under CrPC Section (156(3)) has been lodged at a local court and the Bollywood casanova is being booked for violating Section 5 of the Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act, which includes a maximum imprisonment of six months or a fine of Rs. 200.

Subsequent to the complaint lodged on Friday, Ranbir has been ordered to appear in the Udaipur court on June 26, coincidently the same date that was given to King Khan last month in Jaipur stadium smoking case.

It seems "Rockstar" Ranbir Kappor is following the footsteps of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, though he still has a long way to go to equal the King of Bollywood in every way .

Kapoor has wrapped up the shooting in Udaipur and has returned to Mumbai on Friday.
