A lot is being said and written about the sequel of "Bang Bang". While Jacqueline Fernandez has reportedly replaced Katrina Kaif, the speculations around the possible male lead has gathered sufficient steam.

According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the buzz is Sidharth Malhotra may step in instead of Hrithik Roshan for the second instalment.

What's surprising is the fresh reports are in stark contrast to what the superstar said ahead of "Bang Bang". Although, both Siddharth Anand and Hrithik maintained that there weren't any immediate plans of making a version 2.0, they did say there was something up their sleeves.

However, the other bits of the news say that "Bang Bang 2" will not be a continuation of the first part and directors are yet to be zeroed in on.

"Like the original, the main character emerge from a mysterious background and the story unfolds through chase sequences," Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.

In other news, Sidharth will be seen romancing Katrina Kaif in Nitya Nehra's directorial debut. The love story will need them to play an older couple as well.

"There are different age groups that we have to play in the film. I have to age as the character grows. I am playing a character who grows from the age of 28 to 46 to 60. And to play these parts is tougher for me. I am excited to try prosthetics look," PTI quoted Sidharth Malhotra as saying.
